About Me

I am a 24 year-old third-semester Information Systems student at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, passionate about leveraging data and algorithms to solve complex problems. I combine strong mathematical foundations with programming expertise to build intelligent systems that make a difference. People always tell me I'm a very calm person, and I think that is my greatest strength.

My journey into Machine Learning began with a fascination for how computers can learn patterns from data. I'm actively expanding my skills through online courses on Coursera and Alura, with a strong foundation in Python and Java, currently focused on Data Science and Machine Learning.

I'm currently working at Laboratório de Segurança em Computação (LabSEC), where I apply my knowledge in Java by helping develop the PBAD (Brazilian Digital Signature Standard) and continuously learning more about Software Development.

My biggest goal at the moment is to become a highly qualified professional in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. In my free time, I watch online courses on Alura and apply what I've learned in personal projects. The current online course I'm taking is Coursera's Stanford Machine Learning Specialization. I'm very excited to learn more about Machine Learning and have been applying my knowledge in real world projects (coming soon!).

Professional Experience

Software Developer

Laboratório de Segurança em Computação (LabSEC) | Part-time | Nov 2024 - Present

Working on the development of the PBAD (Brazilian Digital Signature Standard) using Java. The PBAD API is used by the Brazilian government to digitally sign and verify documents, signing over 300 thousand documents daily. There, I work on applying software development best practices and expanding my knowledge in security systems.
